Utility Mobs: Redux
Requires Patchouli.

Got a mod that makes monsters attack your base? Ever feel a bit spread thin trying to defend all 360 degrees, one degree at a time? Ever wish your crafting table could just walk?
Utility Mobs: Redux is a faithful port and modern extension of FatherToast's classic Utility Mobs mod. Build an army in the spirit of vanilla snow and iron golems:
- Combat Golems that actively hunt down hostiles.
- Block Golems that store, smelt, and craft on the move.
- Turrets that hold a position and rain death.
- Colossal Rideable Giants you can drive straight into battle.
Every mob, turret, colossus, and upgrade from the original 1.7.10 version is here. Heres a list of the features this version adds :
- Guide Book featuring ghost block projections in the world before you place a single block, plus stat pages and upgrade spotlights (given on first join).
- Beautiful Config Screen where every setting has clear labels, sliders, and toggles.
- Turrets and Upgrades: An interactive GUI lets you toggle targeting per category, cycle priority modes (nearest, farthest, strongest, weakest), and show a live range outline in the world.
- /umsummon command for testing and staged mob battles. Tab completes and supports up to 500 at once.
- Massive Performance Optimization so you can park hundreds of golems and not have to worry about performance. Settled armies cost roughly nothing, & a profiler toggle if you want to see where the TPS goes.
Build a fortress. Turn your own golems hostile. Try to get past your own defenses.
Compatible with Scape and Run: Parasites.
This mod is actively supported with more on the way. On the roadmap: a dyed team battle system, golem home and restock points, async pathfinding for big armies, and an advancement tree.
