But it does not stay outside forever
As time passes, the entity becomes more persistent. Your base may no longer feel safe, strange encounters become harder to ignore, and the thing following you may begin searching for a way inside

It always knows where you are
Keep the lights on
Watch the windows
And do not assume a closed door will protect you
