Ultrabeam
Turn a rare violet mineral into powerful equipment for mining, farming and combat. Ultrabeam brings a progression from ingots to blocks and energy cores, with purple-and-cyan equipment, animated machinery and abilities that grow with each tier.
Mine, craft and progress
- Find Ultrabeam Ore in the Overworld and a separate Deepslate Ultrabeam Ore below Y=0.
- Craft specialized pickaxes, axes, swords, hammers, shears, farming tools and a multitool.
- Use tier-specific abilities such as area mining, tree felling, extra ore drops and area attacks.
- Create Ultrabeam Farmland with the rake and repair supported equipment in the Ultrabeam Matrix using Ultrabeam materials.
Three tiers of equipment
- Armor: progress through three sets with increasing protection and additional defensive effects. Tier II boots create temporary paths over water; Tier III boots also work over lava. Higher tiers add thorns and stronger protection, while a full Core set provides fire immunity and a rechargeable defensive shield.
- Bows: keep familiar bow controls while gaining slowing effects, gentle arrow guidance at higher tiers, and piercing on the Core bow.
- Ultrabeam Arrows: ammunition for Ultrabeam bows with a small energy pulse and a brief glowing mark. Higher-tier bows strengthen the arrow effects.
Energy shields that preserve your view
Ultrabeam arm shields use a compact device and a translucent violet energy field in first person. Time your blocks to parry, build energy with the higher tiers, and unleash an energy pulse. The Aegis shield adds a brief protective dome against incoming normal arrows. Custom sounds, particles and adjustable client visuals complete the effect.
Press V to discharge a fully charged Tier II or Tier III shield. The key can be changed in Minecraft's controls.

- Install Ultrabeam on both the client and the server for multiplayer. No additional library mods are required.
Ultrabeam includes German and English text. German is used when Minecraft is set to German; other language settings use the English Ultrabeam text.
Ore generation applies to newly generated chunks. Existing worlds can find the ores by exploring previously ungenerated terrain.
This is the current development version, 2.0.0-alpha.4. It has been played in singleplayer and on a dedicated NeoForge server; compatibility with every third-party mod combination is not guaranteed.
