This is a simple mod that makes it so when turtles die, there is a chance they will drop a scute (or the full Turtle Shell). By default, there is a 50% chance. To keep with the vanilla theme of "Turtles are friends," the default settings don't drop them when a player kills the turtle. Both the chance and whether or not it can drop from being killed by a player can be changed in the config. Also configurable is whether they drop a Scute or the full Turtle Shell, and if baby turtles can drop items as well (default false).
This mod can be installed on the server without also being installed on the client. Server Owners, this means you can add this to your server without worrying about making sure your players also have this installed.
