This small mod adds 4 truffles to the game:
All of these are edible (+4 nutrition), but their main use is for trading with villagers. The farmer sells truffles, and the butcher buys them.
Truffles can be collected using the Truffle Hunting Tool by breaking the blocks at the base of truffle oaks (texture similar to coarse dirt).
These oaks can be found naturally in forest biomes, crafted from an oak sapling and three truffles of any kind, or purchased from the wandering trader.
There are also a few achievements related to the mod’s theme.
I don’t plan to update the mod very often; however, there will likely be adjustments made (particularly to drop rates) or fixes implemented if bugs are reported to me in the comments.
