Throwable Spear does exactly what its name suggests: it allows spears to be thrown.
Why isn’t this possible in Vanilla Minecraft?
From now on, you can use the mouse wheel to throw them, deal damage to enemies from a distance, and get much more out of them. Spears become a far more useful and versatile option than before.
