About
The Galaxy Comes Alive (formerly known as the Avali Project) is an ambitious open-source Minecraft mod that aims to bring a diverse array of alien and anthropomorphic species into the overworlds.
Originally started as simple mod project to add the beloved Avali species alongside sergals and protogens, it has grown into a broader vision which is ever growing as we're working on the mod a galaxy with playable races and unique mobs. Whether you're a tech-savvy Protogen, a feathered explorering Avali, or proud Sergal warrior, we're trying our best to fill a gap that has never been filled and bring content and innovate.
This is a truly community-driven project. We welcome contributions of all kinds — models, textures, code, artists, or ideas. Anyone is welcome!

Playable Species — Custom models, animations, able to switch from avali, sergal, protogen or expie

Protogen Advanced cybernetic lifeforms with signature glowing visors. Masters of technology and exploration. Highly intelligent and adaptable.
Status:Playable + Mobs
Avali Graceful avian humanoids covered in feathers. Known for their pack mentality, agility, and adaptation to harsh environments. Excellent scouts and survivors.

Sergal Robust tribal beings blending wolf and shark features. Fierce warriors with strong communal bonds and rich cultural heritage.

Planned Content
Origins Integration — Full compatibility with the Origins mod. Each species will become a powerful Origin with unique abilities, dietary needs, and special traits.
TerraBlender Support — Custom world generation featuring beautiful, lore-accurate biomes and structures for each species.
New Species Pipeline — Regular additions based on community votes. More Protogen variants and popular furry species (manokit, felkin, wickerbeasts, yinglet, etc.) are coming soon.
Species Items & Gear — Unique technology, traditional weapons, armor, and utility items themed around each species’ culture and technology.
