It's hard to know how much damage you're doing when you one shot everything! Thankfully, Target Dummy is here to save the day. Target Dummy adds in an entity that will read out your damage output. Target Dummy was made for 1.14 Fabric and requires the Fabric Loader + Fabric API.
To start, you're going to need to craft a Target Dummy item:
Right click on a block to spawn in the Target dummy entity. Attack it with any weapon and your damage will be displayed above the target's head.
To retrieve the target, shift + right click on it.
