To begin, you'll now need to find an Ancient City, where you can rarely find a TARDIM Pod as loot! However, after escaping, you'll notice that the Pod can't be placed on farmland, grass, or any other block you'd expect.
Being a Gallifreyan plant, it's not native to the earth, and needs special conditions to grow! To make it feel more at home, you can extract Artron from Sculk Catalysts, TARDIM Blossoms, and many more items. Using the Artron on Rooted Dirt will create a Pod Nest, which gives the Pod the conditions it needs to grow!
You'll then need to wait until the TARDIM Pod Grows, Stems, Blossoms, Fruits, then Matures! (Do Just Be Aware, This Can Take Some Time)
You'll know it's ready when you have a tall, skinny TARDIM Fruit on the stem instead of a cube.
After harvesting the TARDIM Fruit, you have a few options! You can eat it as a decent, if slow, food source, or you can dry it on a campfire or in a smoker, which allows you to collect more TARDIM Pods and craft a TARDIM! In the recipe, it simply removes the requirement for Dragon's Breath and adds the Dried TARDIM Fruit instead!
TARDIM: Refined adds a new tool; the Sonic Screwdriver! At the moment it only has a few uses, but I'd like to add more functionality in the future.
It can:
The Sonic Screwdriver is crafted with Iron, Gold, and Crystallized Artron (More on that in a moment!)
TARDIM: Refined also overhauls the fuel system of TARDIM!
Instead of just putting random items into a fuel tank, you now need to fuel your timeship with Crystallized Artron!
To get Crystallized Arton, you need to crystallize Artron Extract (By using a variety of different crystal items), then refine that raw crystal by either pressure heating it in a Blast Furnace (Which is VERY slow) or by using a Sonic Screwdriver in your main hand while holding the Unrefined Crystallized Artron in your offhand.
Don't worry about the process too much, as Artron is a VERY effecient fuel source.
Sonic Screwdrivers can have a few custom skins! While the default skin is a generic design I made, you can use the designs of some of your favourite Doctors!
To get a different skin, you need to craft the Screwdriver together with a dye! (I'll let you figure out which dyes are which)
Here's the current skins:
The mod isn't insanely configurable, however, you ARE able to add items to certain tags via datapacks!
