Overview
Stone Tool Progression makes Stone Tools a little harder to obtain. Wood Tools are now more useful because of this change and are no longer something you forget about in the first minute of playing survival.
It changes:

Stone Tools are no longer made with cobblestone or variants of cobblestone. They are now made with Stone, Deepslate or Blackstone. Stone Tools also need a piece of string to hold it together now.
You can still start in the Nether and obtain Stone Tools. Blackstone is used instead of Stone and String is obtainable early through killing Striders.
You can use this Mod in your Modpack.
