Go into a cave using these torches and you will always know where the exit is.

These torches will illuminate the same as a regular one but will also point to the previously placed torch,

that way when exploring a cave you will always know how to return to the entrance.

 

They cost a bit of iron but in return you will receive more torches than usual:
