This mod primarily adds a singular item, the prospecting pick. There could potentially be more items added in later updates, although for now, it's just this one item.
The way the item works is very simple. You break a single block on the surface of your world, and the pick will let you know if there's any ore below that block, and how many!
This tool is great for finding large veins and deposits, and will save you a lot of time in the mines stripmining.
