Use JEI for the recipes.
Soul Shard ore only spawns in the Outer End at Y:50 and below
Steel Equipment:Better than Iron, worse than diamond, a good middle ground.(and soul steel armor is better than netherite)
To craft Soul Steel armor:soul steel ingots in a crafting grid just like any other armor.
To craft Steel ingots you need to put an Iron ingot in a Smithing table and combine it with Coal or Charcoal, and enjoy!
Btw this mod won't ever be available for any version older than 1.16.5, and i may update it to 1.18 when it comes out.
some things to come: Interchangeable capes on the soul steel chestplate, and i'll add more monsters to this update later.
