What if you could add gems to tools, weapons and armor? Sockets enables extra modifications by adding : sockets. By default, Diamond Gear has 1 socket. If by any chance you want to remove gems from an item, a block called the socket remover can help you out.

• JEI integration: Every Gem added by this mod has some info explaining what it does when socketed.
• Config: there are some options in a Toml file when you first generate a world, such as : enable ruby/sapphire worldgen in the nether, the chance to find an Enchantful Gem, and number of sockets for some items.
• Developers : Wiki is In the making.

How to put your gem

WARNING: On Dedicated Servers, clicking on an Item with a socket on Creative Mode may make you lose your gems, due to the way Creative Mode works. Right now, it would be a pain to fix such behavior. I tried, and was unsuccessful. Survival Mode is unaffected.
