Sometimes you want to hold a slime, but they're too slimy to hold in your hands, so there's one obvious solution: put them in a bucket. Now you can do that!
Slimes can detect the energy of chunks in which their kind have a special connection to, and will get excited whenever they're inside one. Thankfully, they're not quite slipperly enough to get out of the bucket...
Also, magma cubes can be bucketed too! Or, as I call them, hot slimes. Get yourself a bucket of hot slime. Careful though, they are hot.
Of course, this is a fairly common suggestion, and is a feature of the Quark mod. But now you can get it without all of the other useful features Quark has! What a deal!
