Simple Trains is a lightweight transportation mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 that adds simple trains while keeping a style that fits naturally into Minecraft.
Build railway lines using vanilla rails, place your locomotive and wagons, connect them together and start travelling through your world.
The mod is designed to be easy to understand and use, without complicated railway systems.
The locomotive can be powered using:
Simply interact with the locomotive while holding fuel to add it.
Use the Coupling Wrench to connect locomotives and wagons together.
Select one wagon and then interact with another nearby wagon to couple them.
You can also disconnect wagons whenever you want.
The wooden passenger wagon lets players travel together, making it useful for multiplayer worlds, towns, railways and survival servers.
Cargo wagons provide plenty of storage space for transporting resources between bases, mines, farms and villages.
Simple Trains works directly with standard Minecraft rails, so you don't need to build a completely new railway system.
Use the rails you already know and create your own train routes.
