This mod is a take at simpler but still demanding diet system. Instead of managing different groups of foods, player need to just eat better food. Thats it! The better food you eat, the more bonus health you get.
Unlike Spice of Life: Carrot Editing, bonus health is not permanent. You will need to get a stable source of good food, so you will need to set up different farms to craft the best food available.
This is best experienced with other food mods, that will require more processing or when food is locked behind progress in the modpack/mod.
During startup mod scans all items that contains FoodProperties, to know how much food value is needed for bonus hp. Each eaten food is saved in the player's history of food values, from which we calculate bonus health for the player.
This mod also changes player's default max health (can be disabled) and allows for custom food to bonus health mappings to be written in config/stf/simpletastyfood_custom_values.json (it's generated after launching once). Mod can easily work without custom values provided, but it is there for more tailored experience.
