Shrek is neutral, but really strong. If you kill him, he will drop a music disc that you can play in your world. You can summon him by placing four slime blocks and a melon block like a Golem with pumpkins (can be only summoned in swamps).
Also there is a spawn egg if you don't want to summon it by structure.
