Whether you want to conquer the elements, survive the corrupted Dark World, or uncover the hidden tragedy behind the ancient Seekers, you will need all your wits to survive.

(Note: A lore-only companion mod is currently in development to expand the universe of Seekers United. These two mods will be completely separate!)

🗺️ Getting Started & Progression Guide

The world of Seekers United is hostile and unforgiving. Normal weapons won't cut it against everything, and death is just the beginning. Follow this guide to understand the core progression of the mod.

1. Early Game: Surviving the Night

Your very first goal is to protect yourself from the supernatural forces that roam the night, specifically Werewolves. Werewolves are incredibly fast, deadly, and hunt villagers.

The Silver Sword Standard weapons cannot harm Werewolves. You must obtain a Silver Sword. There are two ways to get one:

  1. Crafting: Place 2 Iron Blocks on top of 1 Stick in a Crafting Table.

  2. Trading: Find a Seeker Trainer. To get a Seeker Trainer, you must craft a Seeker Table and place it near a standard Villager.

    • Seeker Table Recipe: Surround 1 Diamond Block with Barrels in a Crafting Table.

Lycanthropy (The Werewolf Curse) If you are injured by a Werewolf, you run the risk of contracting Lycanthropy. During a Full Moon, you will violently transform into a Werewolf yourself. You will completely lose control of your character and relentlessly attack villagers and other mobs until morning!

  • The Cure: To cure Lycanthropy, you must brew a Wolfsbane Potion. Place Wolfsbane and a Golden Carrot into a Brewing Stand.

2. Mid Game: Magic & Elements

Once you have your Silver Sword, it's time to delve into magic.

Gathering Elements & Hope

  • Elemental Essences: Hunt down Elemental Cubes (small floating orbs) and slay them to collect their Essences (Fire, Water, Earth, Air).

  • Shadows & Hope: Look for "Shadows"—empty shells of people who burn in the sunlight. If you trade them most types of flowers (including the Sprout of Hope), they will reward you with Hope, a vital magical currency used throughout the mod.

Entering the Seeker World Your next major milestone is leaving the Overworld to enter the Seeker dimension.

  • Step 1: Craft a Seeker Heart by combining Hope, a Poppy, and Ghost Flesh (dropped by Ghosts) in a crafting grid.

  • Step 2: Build a standard Nether-style portal frame out of Stone.

  • Step 3: Right-click the Stone frame with the Seeker Heart to ignite the portal!

3. End Game: The Path to the Crystal Heart

The endgame of Seekers United is incredibly complex and requires monumental sacrifices. Your ultimate goal is the Crystal Heart, which unlocks ultimate power.

Step-by-Step Endgame Guide:

  1. Find the Guru Hut: Explore forest biomes until you find this extremely rare structure. Inside, you will find the Bearded Man.

  2. Trade for Void Blocks: Hold a Silver Sword in your main hand and right-click the Bearded Man. He will take the sword and give you Void Blocks.

  3. Craft the Sacrifice: In a Crafting Table, combine 3 Enchanted Golden Apples, 1 Diamond Block, 1 Echo Shard, 1 Nether Star, 2 Hope, and 1 Sculk Catalyst.

  4. Get the Portal Opener: Hold the Sacrifice item and right-click the Bearded Man again. He will grant you the Void Portal Opener.

  5. Enter the White Void: Build a portal frame using the Void Blocks and ignite it with the Void Portal Opener.

  6. The Void Guy: Inside, you will find a creepy smiling face known as the Void Guy. Do NOT attack him.

  7. The Test of Worth: To get the Crystal Heart from him, you must meet two strict conditions:

    • You must have won a Raid (proving Heroism).

    • You must have had a tamed animal die (proving Humility).

  8. Claim your Prize: If you meet these conditions, right-click him. He will drop the Crystal Heart and a C.K. Spawn Egg. (Warning: If you are unworthy, he will likely kill you).

  9. The Consequence: The moment you leave the Void dimension with the Crystal Heart, you will be actively hunted by the boss known as the Dark Seeker.

(Note: To get another Crystal Heart, you must win another raid and have another tamed animal die!)

🌌 Dimensions

Seekers United adds several custom dimensions. Each operates on its own unique rules and houses different secrets.

The Seeker World

A massive elemental world filled with unique biomes, dangerous magic, and ancient lore.

  • How to enter: Craft a Seeker Heart (Hope + Poppy + Ghost Flesh). Build a portal frame out of Stone and ignite it with the Seeker Heart.

  • Nymphs: This world is guarded by elemental Nymphs. They live in sacred house blocks (Blue Coral, Oak Logs, Magma Blocks, or Clouds). If you break these blocks, the Nymphs will spawn and attack! You can pacify and tame them by feeding them Elemental Essences, granting you passive buffs.

The Death World

When you die in Seekers United, your journey isn't over. You are immediately sent to the Death World—a sad, lonely, grey place. You will wander here for eternity unless you find a way out.

  • Escape Method 1 (Skul Ruins): Search the dimension for structures called Skul Ruins. Gather skulls (dropped by skeletons here) and build a portal inside the mouth of the ruin.

  • Escape Method 2 (Andrew's Throne): Search for a rare structure containing Andrew, the King of Death.

    • If you give him Hope, he will give you his Shillelagh. Right-clicking with this item will teleport you back to the Overworld from any dimension!

    • (Secret: If you give Andrew his brother's C.K. Spawn Egg, he will give you his Lucky Hat).

The White Void

A bright, blank, apathetic dimension housing the terrifying Void Guy.

  • How to enter: Trade a Silver Sword to the Bearded Man for Void Blocks. Craft the "Sacrifice" item and trade it to him for the Void Portal Opener. Build the portal and ignite it. (See the Progression Guide for full details).

The Dark Realm

A realm of pure corruption and darkness. This is the ultimate endgame area, housing the final boss, the Voided Death.

  • How to enter:

    1. Defeat the Dark Seeker (who hunts you after leaving the Void) to obtain the Dark Totem.

    2. Craft a Darkworld Portal Igniter by combining the Dark Totem, an Ender Dragon Egg, and a Chorus Fruit.

    3. Build a portal frame out of Blackstone and ignite it with the Igniter to enter the Dark Realm.

⚔️ Items, Magic & Recipes

Seekers United features dozens of magical artifacts, weapons, and tools. While many recipes require discovering elemental combinations, all known recipes and functions are documented here.

🗡️ Weapons & Tools

  • Silver Sword: The only weapon that can harm Werewolves. Crafted with 2 Iron Blocks on top of 1 Stick, or traded from a Seeker Trainer.

  • Saber Tooth: Dropped by Saber-Toothed Tigers. Acts as an early-game dagger with high attack speed and low damage.

  • Minotaur Horn: Dropped by Labyrinth Minotaurs. Deals massive knockback to enemies.

  • Swimming Paddle: Crafted by combining a Sea Serpent Fin with Sticks. Right-clicking with it allows you to swim incredibly fast.

  • Jade Dart: A one-use projectile that instantly kills anything it hits. Traded from a Seeker Trainer in exchange for a Crystal Heart.

  • Dark Totem Blade: Defeating the Dark Seeker drops his Dark Totem, which allows you to summon a projectile blade of darkness.

💎 The Crystal Gear

Obtaining a Crystal Heart (from the Void Guy) unlocks the ultimate gear set. Pressing a specific keybind allows you to seamlessly swap between four forms:

  1. Crystal Sword: Deals devastating damage.

  2. Crystal Heart: Holding this grants massive passive buffs. You can also right-click Ghost Villagers with it to resurrect them! (Note: Name tags do not carry over).

  3. Crystal Bow: Fires highly damaging projectiles.

  4. Crystal Pickaxe: Right-clicking with this tool breaks any block instantly.

🪄 Magic & Consumables

  • Elemental Coins: Surround a Gold Ingot with Elemental Essences in a Crafting Table. These act as currency for specialized Seeker Villagers, and can also be thrown as projectile weapons!

  • Hope: Obtained by trading flowers (or the Sprout of Hope) to Shadows. Used for crafting and appeasing entities.

  • Magic Dust: Dropped by Giants. Consume it to temporarily turn into dust and fly anywhere you wish!

  • Glowing Dust: Dropped by Rolling Spike Balls. Throw it to reveal invisible entities.

  • String of Destiny: Dropped by the Puppeteer boss. Hold right-click to take control of the movement of most mobs.

  • Fire Hands: Dropped by C.K. Right-click to run at super speed, leaving a trail of fire behind you.

  • Ye Old Doom Stick: A powerful weapon of darkness dropped by the final boss, the Voided Death.

  • Seeker Wand: Casts unlimited elemental coin magic. Crafted by combining Fire, Water, Earth, and Air Essences with Ye Old Doom Stick.

  • Diamond Dust: Place Evil Crystal Fragments into all slots of a Smithing Table to make Diamond Dust, which can be crafted into nuggets and eventually Diamonds.

✨ Epic Focuses

These are powerful magical artifacts traded from specialized Seeker Villagers (created by surrounding an Elemental Essence with Cobblestone to make a profession block).

  • Fire Claw: Summons a fireball that you can punch to launch.

  • Solid Water: Grants faster swimming, water breathing, and the ability to swim through floating water balls.

  • Air Focus: Blasts all surrounding mobs backward.

  • Earth Cage: Automatically summons a protective mound of earth around you.

  • Lightning Bolt: A throwable, infinite lightning weapon.

  • Ice Needle: Fires a barrage of ice needles in the direction you walk.

  • Flower Power: Instantly grows massive amounts of plants around you.

  • Metal Focus: Summons random metal items when right-clicked.

🛑 Magic Circles (Ultimate Sandbox Item)

Magic Circles are indestructible placeable blocks that allow you to execute standard Minecraft commands in Survival Mode (even with cheats off!).

  • How to get them: You must kill 5,000 Ghost Werewolves, defeat the Dark Seeker, and obtain a Crystal Heart. Once you have done all of this, speak to the Bearded Man, and he will give you as many as you want!

  • (Warning: Commands execute as the player. Use carefully, or you may destroy your world progression!).

👾 Mobs & Creatures

Seekers United populates the world with entities ranging from harmless to terrifying.

(Note on Seeker Revelation: Any standard mob you kill has a small chance to shed its mortal disguise and return to its original elemental Seeker form! You can right-click these Seekers to hear their lore, and they will help fight monsters).

Passive & Neutral Mobs

  • Saber-Toothed Tiger: Found in Savannahs/Forests. Drops teeth for daggers. Tame with raw crab or raw beef.

  • Giant Crab: Found near water. Drops Crab Meat (highly saturating when cooked) and Scutes. Tame with Sea Serpent Fins to ride them (moves left and right only).

  • Centaur: Savannah dwellers who hate wolves and shoot them on sight. Rideable, but currently uncontrollable.

  • Cheetah: Tame with porkchops or mutton. They will fight alongside you.

  • Owl: Tame with rabbit meat. They will actively hunt wild rabbits for you.

  • Penguin: Found in cold biomes. Tamed with fish. They do absolutely nothing. You're welcome.

  • Gecko: Tamed with berries. They also do absolutely nothing.

  • Shadows: Empty shells of people found in the Seeker World. They burn in the sun. Trade them flowers to receive Hope.

  • Ghost Villagers: The tragic souls of villagers killed by Werewolves. Right-click to talk to them, or resurrect them with a Crystal Heart.

  • Idle Ghost: A peaceful spirit. Give it Hope to gain a powerful spectral defender.

  • Nymphs: Elemental guardians of the Seeker World. Disturbing their sacred blocks (Coral, Oak, Magma, Clouds) angers them, but taming them with Essences grants buffs.

Hostile Mobs & Monsters

  • Werewolves: Fast, deadly monsters that hunt villagers and infect players with Lycanthropy. Impervious to normal weapons; requires a Silver Sword.

  • Ghosts: Slow but relentless spirits impervious to all damage except fire and certain cross-mod magic.

  • Minotaur: Massive beasts found guarding underground Labyrinths. Drops a Minotaur Horn.

  • Sea Serpent: Ocean predators with a signature circular attack pattern. Drops fins.

  • Living Statues: Statues that look uncannily human. If you get too close, they awaken and attack!

  • Rolling Spike Ball: Found in Dripstone caves. Rolls aggressively toward players. Drops glowing dust.

  • Corrupted Souls: Evil wasp-like creatures. They are completely invisible in the dark and only revealed by light sources. Dropped Seeker Hearts when defeated.

  • Basilisk: An extremely large, highly venomous, and dangerous snake. (Future update: looking at its eyes will instantly kill you).

  • Treants: Grumpy living trees found in forests. They insult you and summon Ghost Werewolves to attack you.

  • Evil Crystals: Purple structures that spawn worldwide. Getting near them (or holding their fragments) drains your power and gives you sickness effects.

  • Elemental Orbs: Floating cubes in the Overworld that attack with magic. Slay them for Elemental Essences.

  • Giants: Massive brutes that drop Magic Dust.

👑 Bosses & Legends

The true challenge of Seekers United lies in its bosses. These beings require specific summoning rituals or immense luck to find.

The Puppeteer

  • Location: Semi-rare spawn in Plains biomes at night.

  • Behavior: The Puppeteer is a terrifying entity that will actively control your actions and movements while attacking you relentlessly.

  • Drops: String of Destiny, an item that allows you to control the movement of most mobs by holding right-click.

The War Monger

  • Location: Rare spawn at night.

  • Behavior: A dangerous villain who seeks to destroy the innocent. He never fights alone; he summons an entire army to march with him wherever he spawns.

C.K. (The Lore Keeper)

  • Location: Spawned via the C.K. Spawn Egg (Obtained from the Void Guy).

  • Behavior: C.K. is an incredibly powerful Seeker. Because he loves reading, you can actually tame him by giving him a Book! He is incredibly difficult to kill.

  • Drops: If he somehow dies, he drops Fire Hands (Allows super-speed running while leaving a fire trail).

The Dark Seeker

  • Location: Hunts the player down immediately upon leaving the White Void dimension while holding a Crystal Heart.

  • Behavior: A ruthless villain determined to take the power of the Crystal Heart from you.

  • Drops: The Dark Totem, which allows you to summon projectile blades of darkness, and is required to open the Dark Realm.

The Voided Death (Final Boss)

  • Location: The Dark Realm dimension.

  • Summoning Ritual:

    1. Travel to the Dark Realm.

    2. Craft a Heart of Glory Block (Combine Magic Dust, an Enchanting Table, and a Dark Totem in a crafting table).

    3. Place the block in the Dark Realm.

    4. Right-click the block with your Crystal Heart.

  • Behavior: An extremely powerful entity that wields devastating magic, summoning lightning, TNT, and other hazards.

  • Drops: "Ye Old Doom Stick", an ultimate weapon of darkness required to craft the Seeker Wand.
