SAPS (Server Admin Prank Sound)

SAPS is a lightweight, strictly server-side Fabric mod designed for server administrators who want to have some harmless fun and prank their players. With simple commands, you can trigger jump-scare sound effects or strike players with beautiful, completely safe lightning.

Since it is 100% Server-Side, your players do not need to install anything! Just drop it into your server's mods folder and start trolling.

⚡ Features

• Phantom Sounds: Play terrifying audio cues directly to a specific player. The audio source tracks their coordinates perfectly.
• Cosmetic Lightning: Strike a player with lightning that flashes and thunders but deals zero damage and never sets blocks on fire.
• Smart Tab-Completion: Fully integrated with Minecraft's command suggestions. You don't need to memorize sound names.
• Stealthy & Vanilla-Friendly: Sounds play under the Hostile category, making players believe a real monster is creeping right behind them.

💻 Commands & Usage

All commands require operator permissions (OP level 2 or higher).

🔊 1. Play a Prank Sound

/serverprank sound <player> <sound_type>

Available sounds out of the box:

• creeper_hiss — The classic, heart-stopping hiss of a priming Creeper.
• tnt_fuse — The burning fuse of an invisible TNT block.
• cave_scary — A spooky cave ambience sound, pitched down for maximum creepiness.
• enderman_scream — The terrifying screech of an angered Enderman.
• wither_spawn — The global-sounding rumble of a Wither being summoned.
• ghast_scream — The sudden high-pitched shriek of a Ghast.
• anvil_land — A loud, heavy metallic clang of a dropping anvil.
• guardian_laser — The intense charging sound of an Elder Guardian laser beam.

⚡ 2. Summon Fake Lightning

/serverprank strike <player>

Instantly summons a cosmetic lightning bolt on the player's exact location. Perfect for dramatic entrances, comical punishments, or pure shock value.

🛠 Requirements

• Platform: Fabric
• Dependency: Fabric API is required on the server side!
• Environment: Server-only (DedicatedServerModInitializer)
• Client Side: Not required. Vanilla clients can join without any issues.
• Permissions: Level 2 (Vanilla OP / LuckPerms command node support)
