Tired of needing a Ex Nihilo hammer? Well, come to the Ruby mod, we have a blender which does the thing, almost, but as a block! You need to give it redstone, but it doesn't use any power. More may be added later, but for now this is all the items. You also can make Ruby Blocks, a shiny decorative block, as well as being used for blenders.

Then, smelt. You can use a blast furnace to speed up smelting - it does take a while!
Using the blenders, you could, say, make a glass farm.
