This mod is intended to be used with Spoiled and does not add rotting mechanics on its own.
Food seems to stay good forever, but what if it didn't? What if it actually rotted and became unsafe to eat? Every vanilla food that can feasibly rot now has variants that can cause Hunger II when eaten (80% chance, just like rotten flesh) and only restore half the hunger value and saturation of the vanilla food.
