Riot Shield

This mod adds in a riot shield called the, "Sentinel Shield" to the game.

RECIPE:

• The Sentinel Shield will block any damage inflicted on the player or entity holding it, without the need to use it.
• It has 2000 durability, but the durability it loses per hit scales with the damage that it blocks.
• Running with it will enable the user to charge at enemies, with velocity increasing over time until the user gets tired and halts.
• Charging with the shield exhausts hunger faster.
• Charging into enemies with the shield will knock them back, and deal damage to them.
• Knockback and damage scale with velocity and time spent charging.
• Each time enemy hit with the shield will cause the shield to lose some durability.
• The shield can also be placed down as cover, which will cause a shockwave to any nearby entities, and can then be picked back up.
  • N.B. When picked back up, the shield may lose or gain some durability, to ensure this is balanced
