Do you also hate the way water works in Minecraft? My mod fixes it to act more like actual water. It also does a whole bunch of other stuff.
Water
- Water flows downhill, carrying source blocks along until it settles into a level pool.
- Infinite water sources are removed. Two source blocks no longer create a new source.
- Water evaporates over time.
Vegetation
- Grass blocks can spontaneously produce foliage on their top, growing and changing over time.
- Trees reseed naturally, saplings grow faster, and a large cherry tree is added (ala the large jungle tree or the dark tree).
- Vines spread laterally as well as vertically.
Sky
- Floating sky islands contain porous glass and geodes with diamonds, amethyst, and water.
- Clouds include wool clouds with snow on top, moss and vines, rain clouds, and coral.
- Live coral in the sky periodically releases fish.
- Fish and squid appear in the air.
- Ghasts guard sky areas.
Mobs and Weather
- Mobs can spawn in every biome, including rare mobs.
- Creepers and spiders spawn in tall grass during the day. Creeper explosions are half the size but cause fires. Fire spread has also been massively buffed. Be careful!
- Cobblestone and stone bricks grow moss in rain.
- The weather is predominantly rainy, with periods of intense thunderstorms. If the skies are clear, enjoy them.
Compatibility
- Mod loader: Fabric
- Minecraft version: 26.2
- Requires: Fabric API
