Alloys and more is a small techno-magic mod with one unique mechanic! This mod adds:
9 ores.
Alloy mechanic.
4 sets of weapons, tools and armor.
2 types of weapon(Short Axe and Basher).
8 unique weapons with interesting mechanics.
And some interesting stuff with useful abilities.
Ores. This mod adds: polymetallic, silver, bauxite, cobalt, chromium, tin, lithium, nickel and wolframite ores. Rather all of this ores you can smelt to get their ingots versions(like smelt iron ore and get iron ingot). But, you can smelt polymetallic ore to get zinc, lead and copper; bauxite ore to get aluminium and wolframite ore to get wolfram and graphite.
Then, the most interesting part of this mod - alloy mechanic! You can use Alloy Furnace with Magma coal to get alloys, that have better stats. Recipe of these alloys are similar to real alloys. For now there are 4 alloys in mod - bronze, steel, cast iron and fechral. With this alloys you can make new armor, weapons and tools, like in "vanilla" minecraft.
Also, mod ads 2 new weapon types - Basher and Short Axe. Basher is a big stick, that is similiar to axe from vanilla minecraft? When you hit your enemy with it, it has a chance to bash enemy. But not only - on R-click you can get yourself a buff - 8 additional health points(4 'hearts'). Short axe(or Battle axe) is a weapon with low damage, but high attack speed. When you hit your enemy with it, it has a chance to deal double damage! And, on R-click, you dash forward for 4-6 blocks!
With Alloys and more! you can craft new 8 unique weapons, such as: Mjolnir, Peaceful Blood Katana, Hostile Blood Katana, Nether's Peacemaker, Witchknife, Wither Edge and Blood Orchid Wand. Each of these weapons has interesing abilities and crafts. Crafts of these weapons you can see with JEI or on screenshots in document.
In conlcusion, mod adds some other stuff, that you use, like magic shovel and Plantain!
