A brand new mod has been added that adds a second overworld dimension to the game. This way, you can have more than one world to explore, build, and have fun in.
This mod was mainly built with servers in mind, so a modded Minecraft server that doesn't use PaperMC or anything similiar can still have a second world, which can, for example, be reset every week or so. This ensures that the main world doesn't run out of resources as quickly. The mod has been tested with a modpack, confirming that the second world dimension also has modded ores from other mods spawning naturally underground. The same goes for structures from other mods.
To access the second dimension, build a portal like a Nether portal out of stone bricks, use the second-world igniter to light it, and you will have access to a second overworld! The igniter can be crafted with four coal in a square shape.
As you enter and explore the second dimension you might find some structures you aren't used to seeing in the overworld. Those are a mysterious altar which summons an ancient monster and one cavern rising far above the clouds containing another ancient beast.
