Cheaper Rails is a very simple mod that lessens the cost of rails by giving you more when you craft them.
Normal rails give you 28 instead of 16 when crafted, and powered rails give you 16 instead of 6 when crafted.
This mod is helpful if you want to use minecart rails as a main form of transport but it's just too expensive to be a reliable mode of transport.
