The original purpose of this mod "I wanted prismarine for my server but wasn't ready to drop my mods to upgrade to 1.8... so, I started making my own. Most of it is done other than some odds and ends to finish. I also added tools and armor. The tools can be dyed to your liking and respond very well to the dyes with very vibrant colors. Once this mod is updated to 1.8, I will remove the modded blocks/items(since they will exist already) other than the tools and armor and then expand upon the extra functionality of this nifty new crafting material.
This mod is compatible with Colored Light Mod which can be found here. Just drop the core in your mods folder with prismarine and you are good to go."
There's only a few things this mod currently does as most of the other features I stripped away as they were added to vanilla minecraft. I will most likely be expanding on it in the future.
Current features:
+ prismarine armor and tools. (mostly the same stats as iron but won't burn in lava)
+ a few new colors of sea lanterns
