Added pistons act just like normal pistons, but they have different look.
You can add more materials for pistons by changing the config, you can also remove the ones you don't like.
After you change the config, the mod will automatically generate models, blockstates and recipes for every new type of pistons.
However, if you want to add a new type, you will also need to make textures for that, you can find examples inside of the mod archive.
