Please note this mod uses Fabric, the Fabric Loader and the Fabric API to are needed for this mod to function.
An installation of Java 16 may be required for your game to work properly.
This mod is compatible with Fabric Minecraft Servers.
Feed
- Parrots can be fed either sitting or mid-flight
- When the parrot's health is full, it will no longer accept seeds from the player
Place
- Parrots will no longer fly off of you when falling or jumping
- Remove parrots from player by crouching and right clicking on a solid block
Travel
- The Slow Falling effect is given to you indefinitely, so long as you have a parrot on your shoulder
- One parrot on your shoulder will give Slow Falling I, while two parrots will give you Slow Falling II
- Slow Falling may be disabled by typing "/ppp allowSlowFalling false", or by a toggle in Cloth Config API
- Parrots will still dismount when you enter water, sleep, or receive damage (fall damage excluded)
Additional Features:
- Is compatible with most Fabric mods that add additional seeds to your game.
Multiplayer:
1. Download the version of this mod that is compatible with your server.
2. Move the file into your server's "mods" folder.
3. Restart the server if it is currently running and enjoy!
Updates:
- As the Slow Falling effect is now toggleable, I will be working on adding parrot breeding as recommended by many of you :)
- Additional configuration options such as disable dismount in water or when taking damage may also be added if requested enough.
- WARNING: At the mod's current state, obtaining the Slow Falling effect through a potion or other non-parrot-related means will cause some issues when interacting with parrots. Save your potions until this is updated.
