# Portal Ledger
**Plan, name, and organize portal routes without leaving Minecraft.**
Portal Ledger is a client-side notebook for portal coordinates. Save named points, add notes, mark favorites, and compare Overworld/Nether X/Z conversions from one focused interface.
## Highlights
- Store dimension, coordinates, name, notes, and favorite state
- Automatic Overworld/Nether X/Z conversion
- Searchable entries and optional portal pairs
- Global or per-server profiles using hashed server identifiers
- Import, export, conflict handling, and recovery tools
- Six interface languages
## Privacy and fair-play scope
Portal Ledger is a planning tool, not a world scanner. It does **not** locate structures, inspect unloaded terrain, teleport the player, or guarantee how vanilla portal linking will resolve. Your saved data stays local unless you export it yourself.
## Compatibility
- Minecraft Java Edition **1.16.5 through 26.1.2**
- **Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge** wherever that loader is officially supported for the selected Minecraft version
- Client-side only — no server installation or custom network payload
- Six built-in interface languages
## Installation
1. Choose the file matching your exact Minecraft version and mod loader.
2. Install the loader's required API/dependencies when listed on the file page.
3. Place the jar in your mods folder and start Minecraft.
Always follow the rules of the server you play on.
