Note: this is a very early WIP version with much more planned in the (hopefully) near future, please tell me what you think if you decide to try it out! Feedback is greatly appreciated.
FoodFare is a work-in-progress mod that aims to add things that I felt were either missing from the vanilla game or would fit in it; as well as focusing on keeping options plentiful in every biome rather than only some as it currently is in vanilla Minecraft.
Additionally, there are plenty of tools which can be used alongside these foods in a crafting table to prepare them, as well as handheld tools such as the gathering cane, which can yield more drops from leaves, and soon the fishing net which has yet to be fully implemented.
This mod is still in very early planning stages and as such, nothing is concrete just yet. The plan right now is to expand on the achievement "a balanced diet." (vanilla achievement for eating every food item) Because vanilla foods already fill their niches too well to make adding more without a complete overhaul of how hunger/regeneration works practical. However, some foods will have their own special effects, potion-based and otherwise.
