Paint the Grass
Ever wanted a pink lawn? Or a blue one? Or both, side by side?
Paint the Grass lets you dye grass blocks in all 16 vanilla dye colors. It is a simple, casual alternative to Tinted Grass: no complicated crafting, no new dyes, just grass and the dyes you already know.
Features
- 16 colored grass blocks, one for every vanilla dye.
- Easy crafting: put 1 dye in the center of the crafting table and surround it with 8 grass blocks to get 8 colored blocks, just like terracotta.
- Recolor with crafting: the same recipe recolors blocks that are already dyed. Vanilla and colored grass blocks (even mixed together) all work as ingredients.
- Matching plants: grass, tall grass and ferns growing on a colored block take its color, so your meadow always looks right.
- Matching flowers: bone meal on colored grass grows grass and only flowers of the same color. Poppies and red tulips on red, dandelions and sunflowers on yellow, pink tulips and peonies on pink, and so on. Have Fun!
- Purely decorative: colored grass does not spread and does not turn into dirt. Hoes and shovels still work (farmland and paths behave like vanilla).
- Vanilla look: the mod uses vanilla textures, nothing extra to download.
