This mod focuses on adding items to explore the world in search of diamonds, iron, gold etc... It adds a series of rings that will help you in your prospecting. The rings require the making of sticks of their type, for example for a diamond ring you will need a diamond stick and then,craft the ring with the diamond stick. 

Each stick/ring has the ability to prospect the world vertically, from the bedrock to the player position X Y Z, for the sticks you have to right click to activate the prospecting ability with the rings you can equip it in the slot(Curios/Baubles slot) of your inventory and the ability will be automatically activated.

Thus, the prospecting ability will probe the Y-axis vertically looking for the ore that corresponds to your stick/ring, once the mineral is detected, a musical note will be played to alert you. example
