This is a mod that prevents player to break blocks without tools.
This mod was inspired by No Tree Punching by AlcatrazEscapee, but simpler.
Unlike other mods of this type, this mod makes not only logs but also all blocks unbreakable by hand.
Some blocks; soil, leaves and plants, avoid this restriction by default.
You can still break blocks as usual by holding any tool in your main hand.
This mod doesn't add any early game tools.
I recommend using this mod in conjunction with another mod that contains primitive tools.
However, you can find a way to get started with this mod alone.
The features of this mod are managed by tags.
To add/remove thease blocks/items of tags, you can use datapacks.
Alternatively, use mods that supports tag editing, such as KubeJS.
The config file contains several settings, such as “Require preferred tool”.
To change the settings, you can either edit the file directly or use Configured mod to adjust them in-game.
