Entity Details:

  • The Hexan Guard - Soldiers loyal to the long dead kings of the underworld, spawn with a random weapon set along with their own shield & armour.
  • Wither Skeleton Horse - Bigger, faster and stronger than the standard skeleton horse. Reduced fall damage, immune to fire and the wither effect, a worthy steed in the nether. Wild specimens can't be tamed, only the cursed versions can be tamed and ridden acquired by killing the Wither Death Riders.
  • Wither Death Riders - Zealous cavalry of the wither adorned with charred leather armour made from the flayed living they hunt. Food items: Coal, Bone Meal

  • Hexed Undead Riders - Heavy skeleton warrior cavalry, tend to patrol the soul sand valleys.
  • Piglin Beserker - Fanatic version of the piglin brute. Found in the greed mines.

Structure Details:

  • Nether Watch Tower - 12 Different nbt’s assembled randomly using jigsaws making each unique.
  • Nether Outpost - Fortified outpost
  • Nether Prison - Where humans were held from the overworld wars.
  • Nether Greed Mines - Extensive mining networks now in ruins. Includes secret buried hallways on the lowest level.
  • Nether Lookout - Generates above level 70, only place to find netherite oxide.
  • Nether Bullion Temple - Generates above 70 a strange temple protecting gold.
  • Nether Ironclad - Hexan warship now manned by blaze entities.
  • Nether Tower of Red Sun - A rare tower full of mysteries.
    • Volcan Pit - Structure of unknown origin or purpose.

Structure chests use vanilla nether bridge/fortress, simple dungeon and custom loot tables. Most treasure is hidden or buried.

Item Details:

  • Netherite Oxide - Netherite Oxide - Netherite dust from decayed old world items. Can be smelted into a netherite fragment. 4 Fragments make a bundle, 6 bundles make 1 netherite scraps.
  • Militus Alloy - Used to craft militus armour. Ore does not occur naturally due to overmining, last remnants can be found in the greed mines
  • Militus Armour - Between iron and chainmail in specs, scraftable using militus alloy using standard armour shape recipes.
  • Imperial Coins - Useless fiat currency from the old empire, can be smelted into gold nuggets.
  • Iron Clump - Gained after smelting hammered iron plate blocks, crafts into 4 iron nuggets.

Block Details:

  • Hammered Iron Plate Block - Crafted using 4 iron nuggets around crimson planks. Can be smelted into an iron clump. Used to build the ironclad ship.
  • Eternal Light - Can be found but not crafted, drops 1 glowstone.
  • Gargoyles - Decorative blocks sculpted by unknown artisans. Can't be crafted by humans. Can be found, need at least a stone pick for rock types, iron for gold, diamond for obsidian.

 Configuration:

  • Set structure spawn true/false as well as maximum/minimum spawn attempt.
  • Choose which entities to spawn naturally in vanilla nether biomes along with weights, maximum and minimum spawn numbers.
  • For low spec PCs disable the prison and greed mines.

Development Notes:

  • Chest loot table names: netherhexedkingdom:chests/hexed_kingdom_loot, hexed_kingdom_rare_loot, hexed_kingdom_redsuntower_loot
  • Free to use as you wish in mod packs, please include credit where possible.
  • Forge only mod, no other api versions planned.
  • Server side has not been extensively tested.
  • Structure generation is weird, I have done what I can to avoid clashes but some are inevitable.
  • Shields work however need to be reworked due to blocking animation issues, currently implemented as simple items. Can't be dropped as loot.
  • No feature suggestions at this stage thanks
