Monster Plus

Monster Plus Mod for Minecraft aims to improve the player explerience adding many new special enemies, characteristic to different environments of the game, along with special weapons and equipment crafted from their drops that will give players more reasons to engage in combat and exploration.

Mobs

Desert Sorceress and Desert Acolyte

Desert Spellcasters with Fire Based Attacks. The Desert Acolyte has more basic attacks while the Desert Sorceress is a stronger and rarer variant. They drop Ancient Scrolls as well as Blaze Powder and Magic Scrolls you can use to cast their magic.

 

Spectral Skull

A floating skeleton skull that spawns underground. It drops spectral fragments, bone meal and rarely a skeleton skull.

Glow Skeleton

A skeleton variant that spawns deep underground and can be identified from far away due to it's innate glow, akin to that of a Glow Squid. It's slightly stronger than normal skeletons and affects it's targets with the glowing effect giving away their position to other mobs. It can spawn either with a bow or a stone sword and it can drop Bones, Arrows, Glow Ink and sometimes Glowstone Dust or Spectral Arrows.

Lava Squid

A special type of Squid that can fly and spawns in fairly large groups in the Nether. It's normally passive but when attacked it will be aggroed and will shoot fireballs to the enemy, in the meantime alerting all other Lava Squids in the near vicinity who will start attacking as well. It drops Blaze Powder and Magma Cream.

Mother Lava Squid

A bigger and stronger Lava Squid that spawns rarely in the Nether. It's always aggressive and will alert all nearby Lava Squids to attack its targets. As long as it's alive it will constantly birth new Lava Squids to help.

It drops the same as Lava Squids but with higher drop rates and it can attack either by shooting a single large fireball or a barrage of many fireballs

Crystalian

An underground zombie-like crystal creature that can attack the player by summoning crystal spikes below them. They will drop crystals that will allow the player to craft the Crystal Set of equipment.

Hermit Abysswalker

A special type of Illager, akin to an Evoker, that will rarely spawn deep underground. It will affect the player with the Darkness status effect and will attack them with fireballs and trough purple glowing Crystal Spikes that will travel towards the player and spawn below them. It will summon Opalescent Eyes and Spectral Minions as aid against its enemies. They will drop crystals that will allow the player to craft the Crystal Set of equipment.

Opalescent Eye

A glowing flying blind eye that the Abyssologer will summon to fight against it's enemies. They are fairly weak but they can prove dangerous when fought in groups while attacked by the Abyssologer and it's other minions.

Spectral Minion

A translucent, glowing, weaker kin of the Skeleton that the Abyssologer will summon to fight against its enemies. They are fairly weak but they can prove dangerous when fought in groups while attacked by the Abyssologer and it's other minions.

Swamp Monster

A special variant of Zombie that will spawn in Swamp and Mangrove Swamp biomes and will afflict it's enemies with poison. It drops Rotten Flesh and sometimes Mud.

Overgrown Skeleton

A special variant of Skeleton that doesn't burn in the sunlight and spawns in Jungles and in Lush Cave biomes. It inflicts poison to its enemies and can spawn unarmed or armed with a wooden sword or a bow.

Demon Eye

Flying undead mob that will spawn at night on the surface and will burn in the sunlight. It will come in different colour and size variants that will determine some of its drops and attributes. It can drop spectral fragments

Ender Watcher

Very rare neutral variant of the Demon Eye that resembles an Eye of Ender and can teleport around. It will drop ender pearls and, rarely, ender eyes

Corrupted Ancient Hero

A very strong and rare monster that will only spawn in the deepest caves (below y = 12). It will attack the player with incessant melee swings and a barrrage of tracking skull projectiles. As its health gets lower it will start to lose pieces of his armor becoming more vulnerable to damage but faster and more dangerous. As its health goes below 50% its head will detach from its body and start flying around shooting skull projectiles at the player as the body keeps attacking in melee. Once killed it will always drop its broken sword, used in the crafting of legendary weapons such as Darkstar. It will sometimes also drop one piece of its armour (Dark Helmet or Dark Chestplate), with the same stats as netherite armour. Among other rewards it can also drop dark fragments and rare materials such as diamonds and more rarely netherite scraps. The head can drops rare minerals such as diamonds, gold and lapis lazuli, and sometimes it will drop a skeleton skull or, very rarely, a wither skeleton skull.

Equipment

Crystal Set

Killing Crystalian's and Abysswalkers will grant Ancient Crystal Shards that can be assembled into Ancient Crystals that can be used to craft powerful armaments.

Crystal Clump

A special consumable that can be thrown to summon a large cluster of Crystal Spikes in the place where it lands

Crystal Arrow

A special type of arrow that summons a cluster of Crystal Spikes in the place where it lands

Crystal Sword

A special sword with the ability to summon Crystal Spikes when it attacks entities.

Crystal Armour

A powerful set of armour that offers the same protection as Diamond and has an innate magic protection (15% for each piece)

Legendary Weapons

Darkstar

Crafted from an Ancient Broken Sword together with Dark Gems and Crystal Fragments, this powerful weapon will make a long line of crystals rise from the ground in front of you with every swing, being able to hit enemies up to a very long range.

 

Magic Scrolls

Magic Scrolls are consumable items that allow for the casting of spells. To craft them obtain Ancient Scrolls from Abyssologer, Desert Sorceress and Desert Acolyte mobs and use Spectral Fragments to turn them into Enchanted Scrolls, which you can use to craft all the various spells.

Bone Staff

A Staff that shoots Spectral Skull projectiles. Crafted with a Skeleton Skull, bones and spectral fragments
