Want to fix the anvil but can't find a good and simple mod to do it? This is your mod.
Many anvil mods are outdated or for fabric only. Some outright replace anvil/enchantment system. This simply changes the existing system so that it's to your liking.
By default, the max level to enchant something is set to 40. If the enchantment costs more than that it will clamp it to 40 so no more "Too expensive!" message. Also by default the enchantments are linear. Instead of costing double + 1 every enchantment, it just costs a little more each time you enchant.
Currently the following is configurable:
- Max level
- Clamp to max level (so you don't get the too expensive message)
- Linear enchantment cost

Note: this mod is *required* by the client side and server side. It also fully supports single player.
