MetaTips is for Fabric and Minecraft 1.14. It adds various features to item tooltips, including:
Advanced tooltips are a vanilla feature. To use them, press F3+H.
You can also share the name and tooltip for an item to chat by overing over the item in an inventory and pressing Shift and the chat key together.
