Meloncoin

[MAJOR REWORK IN PROGRESS - adding city-states, companies, and decorative coin stacks, fixing bugs with the Mint]

This project's development is paused indefinitely because, frankly, I don't care that much about it anymore. Also, I don't think there's a niche in the modded Minecraft ecosystem that Meloncoin would fill. Every server with money or trade functions just fine with existing mods and tools.

Meloncoin adds three coins to the game to be used as currency on RP servers.

List of features:

• Meloncoin item
• Berrycoin item (8 meloncoin)
• Applecoin item (64 meloncoin)
• Mint block - mints coins, but you can't get new worth out of it. You only create new coins to make it easier to convert between the coin types.

The Mint is crafted with 8 bricks (the item) around a furnace in a crafting table.

The coins cannot be crafted, they must be spawned in or given to players when they join for the first time.
