Malus Phaethusa - Pronounced "Ma-lus Fai-too-sa"

 

From the Author of DimensionalOres comes his second ever mod! Malus Phaethusa!

Back in 1.7.10, we had the OreSpawn mod which added in three types of cows called the Apple Cows! The Apple Cow, the Golden Apple Cow and the Enchanted Golden Apple Cow. This mod brings those mobs back in a new reinvented style along with some new items to accompany them! I will attempt to walk you through them here.

 

Apple Cow

This is the Apple Cow! Here is the information about it:

Spawns: In the same places as a cow does with a slightly lower spawn weight

Drops (Without Looting): Normal Cow Loot + 1 or 2 Apples

Drops (With Looting): Normal Cow Loot at looting levels + 0 or 1 apple per level of looting

Breeds with: Wheat

Follows: Wheat

Item Received When Milked: Regular Milk Bucket

 

Golden Apple Cow

This is the Golden Apple Cow! Here is the information about it:

Spawns: In the same places as a cow does with an decreased spawning weight (It's rarer to find)

Drops (Without Looting): Normal Cow Loot + 1 or 2 Golden Apples

Drops (With Looting): Normal Cow Loot at looting levels + 0 or 1 Golden Apple per level of looting

Breeds with: Golden Wheat

Follows: Golden Wheat

Item Received When Milked: Golden Milk Bucket

 

Enchanted Golden Apple Cow

 

This is the Enchanted Golden Apple Cow! Here is the information about it:

Spawns: Mushroom Biome

Drops (Without Looting): Normal Cow Loot + 1 or 2 Enchanted Golden Apples

Drops (With Looting): Normal Cow Loot at looting levels + 0 or 1 Golden Apple per level of looting

Breeds with: Enchanted Golden Wheat

Follows: Enchanted Golden Wheat

Item Received When Milked: Enchanted Golden Milk Bucket

 

Recipes

Golden Wheat is crafted with: 1 Regular Wheat, 4 Gold Ingots and 4 Gold Nuggets. This item is used to make Golden Bread or to breed Golden Apple Cows

 

Enchanted Golden Wheat with: 1 Golden Wheat, 4 Gold Ingots and 4 Gold Nuggets. This item is used to make Enchanted Golden Bread or to breed Enchanted Golden Apple Cows

 

Other Misc Items

 

From left to right, the other items the mod adds and what they do are:

- Golden Bread: Crafted like normal bread with 3 Golden Wheat. Can be traded with Piglins. When eaten, acts like a slightly better Golden Apple

- Enchanted Golden Bread: Crafted like normal bread with 3 Enchanted Golden Wheat. Can be traded with Piglins. When eaten, acts like a slightly better Enchanted Golden Apple

- Golden Milk Bucket: Obtained by milking a Golden Apple Cow. When drunk, clears all potion effects and then applies a slight absorption buff for a bit

- Enchanted Golden Milk Bucket: Obtained by milking an Enchanted Golden Apple Cow. When drunk, clears all potion effects and then applies a slight absorption and regeneration buff for a bit

A: Probably not no, I prefer Fabric, however, you are welcome to port my mod if you wish, the license allows for that
