Mallard's Birch Forest Expansion (MBFE) adds most of the the cancelled birch forest update, along with a plethora of other content relating to birch forests.  Unlike some other mods, it doesn't create a new biome, but it modifies the existing birch forest.

"Will MBFE be ported to x-version?"

No, I'll update them as I see fit.

"Will MBFE be ported to fabric?"

Yes, but it's not a priority.

"Am I allowed to use MBFE in a modpack?"

Of course!  Just provide credit.
