This is a Minecraft Mod for Forge 1.20-1.20.6 and 1.16.5 that adds a new craftable KitKat food in both wrapped and unwrapped variants.
Craftable via a shape similar to TNT's crafting recipe, consisting of 4 Cocoa Beans and 5 Red Dye, resulting in 1 Wrapped KitKat.
Consuming a Wrapped KitKat give's no saturation and gives the player Hunger II and Poison for 5 seconds due to the ingested plastic.
Wrapped KitKat's can be found naturally spawning in dungeon chests in groups of up to 3.
Craftable via putting an unwrapped KitKat in any crafting grid, resulting in 1 unwrapped KitKat; or it can be crafted via putting 1 KitKat Wrapper and 4 KitKat Bars into a Crafting Table.
Consuming an Unwrapped KitKat fills 4 hunger bars and 8 saturation and gives the player Resistance II and Speed for 5 seconds.
Craftable via putting an unwrapped KitKat in any crafting grid, resulting in 4 KitKat Bars.
Consuming a KitKat Bar fills 1 hunger bar and 2 saturation and gives the play Resistance II and Speed for 1/4th the amount of time as the Unwrapped KitKat.
Consuming a Moldy Kitkat results in Poison II and Hunger III for 10 seconds, and Nausea, Weakness, and Slowness for 5 seconds.
Moldy KitKat's can be found naturally spawning in dungeon chests in groups of up to 5.
The KitKat Wrapper is now obtained whenever the player consumes an Unwrapped KitKat.
The KitKat Wrapper can be crafted as a byproduct of crafting the KitKat Bars.
Craftable via putting an Unwrapped KitKat in the center of a crafting table grid, with 2 Dragon's Breath on the top and bottom, 2 Nether Stars on either side, and 4 Netherite Scrap in each corner.
Consuming an KInfiniteKat fills 4 hunger bars and 8 saturation and gives the player Resistance II and Speed for 5 seconds, same as the Unwrapped KitKat; where the difference lies is that the KInfiniteKat, once crafted or obtained, can be eaten an unlimited number of times without being consumed. The KInfiniteKat has 4 charges, and cannot be eaten once it reaches 0 charges, however it is constantly recharging, taking 10 seconds to recharge each charge, or 40 seconds in total to recharge fully to 4 charges from 0 charges.
