LOTM Mystical Items

An addon for LotMCraft that adds mystical items from Lord of the Mysteries. Especially those that Klein had used.

This mod uses the base mod artifact wheel keybind.

This mod add a new bindable keybind for item introspect, the default is G.

Hold shift while using the change sub-ability button to change the sub-ability of the items.

Here are the list of the available mystical item currently present:

Creeping Hunger

A Sequence 5 Hanged Man mystical item, correspond to Shepherd ability.

• Kill a Beyonder while holding it in either hand to graze their soul. It holds up to 5 souls, gaining a random 1-3 abilities from their pathway and sequence to the glove's ability wheel.
• Press V to select which ability you want to use, then right-click to use the selected ability. Open Item Introspect (default G) to switch souls, reorder or disable abilities, manage the reserve, and watch the feeding timer. Right-click to use the active soul's selected ability.
• It must be fed. Keep a soul in the reserve, and once per in-game day (24000 ticks) the glove devours it and spits out that Beyonder's Characteristic. If the reserve is empty when the day is up, it feeds on you, and immediatly kills you. Demigods may still cheat it with their own abilities, in which case Creeping Hunger stays hungry and tries again a minute later.
• Releasing a soul spits its beyonder characteristic back out.
• Sequence 4 and below cannot be grazed (configurable).
• Found rarely in chests, and dropped by Qilangos NPC. It has no crafting recipe.

Awakened Creeping Hunger

Seven soul slots and a quicker soul cycle with Z (left) and X (right). Grazing lets you choose one ability yourself, plus 1-2 more rolled at random. It can hold a single Sequence 4 soul (configurable), it has also developed an intense fear of mushrooms, no ability can be used within 5 blocks of one. And three times a day (8000 ticks) it turns to pray and will recite the honorific names of the True Creator. You'll get a small damage and loss sanity if you hold the item while it pray to it's lord and savior.

Craft it from a Creeping Hunger, five One Pounds, and the Cataclysmic Interrer, Manipulator, and Unshadowed Characteristics.

Qilangos

A hostile Sequence 6 Tyrant Beyonder in a pirate captain's guise. He spawns in the overworld, more often near coasts. He fights with Tyrant abilities plus the souls stored in his own Creeping Hunger. When he dies he drops a Creeping Hunger pre-loaded with five souls. 

Staff of Stars

A sequence 2 Door sealed artifact, a powerful staff whose hits inflict Mutation. It is chaotic and it cannot be controlled.

• While held, it witnesses abilities cast within 24 blocks and learns them. The more it has seen an ability, the more reliably it can reenact it.
• Press V to select which ability you want to use, then right click to casts the selected ability. Shift + right-click opens the teleport menu with 5 saved locations. Press G (Item Introspect) to reorder or toggle abilities and forget abilities.
• When you failed at ability reenactment, or misremember a place, you'll get a new status effect called Panic. This effect stack up to V. The higher it gets, the stranger the anomalies, such as wrong powers, backlash, blanked minds, swapped places, bad luck and stray lightning. At Panic II and above you may be Cursed and turned into a harmless animal with your abilities sealed until it wears off. At high Panic, hostile echoes of figures the staff has stared at may turn on you, and you may slip into the Spirit World or the Cosmos.
• Teleporting is only possible to saved locations, and you may misremember and arrive somewhere else. The chance rises with Panic.
• When left unsealed, the Staff acts up on its own, and it may very rarely wander off. Inside a Sefirah Castle it is sealed and calm.
• Craft it from 8 One Pounds around a Planeswalker Characteristic. It can also show up in chests

Sea God Scepter

A Sequence 3 Tyrant sealed artifact, a relic of the Sea God Kalvetua.

• Press V to select which ability you want to use, then right-click casts the selected ability (Correspond to Sequence 3 of the Tyrant pathway). While held you gain Strength, Water Breathing and Conduit Power.
• Sneak + right-click a Beyonder at least two sequences weaker than you to make them your follower. Manage followers in Item Introspect (G). You could bless them, strike them with lightning, summon them (only inside your own Sefirah Castle), or remove them.
• Recite the five honorific lines in chat, one per message and in order, to pray. Each line gives feedback, and a finished prayer is saved on every Scepter carried by an online player. Weaker Beyonders who finish the honorific swear themselves to the wielder.
• In the Prayers tab you can Gaze at the place a prayer was made. Your body stays behind as a double, you cast from the prayer spot, and spirituality drains every second. If the double is attacked you are pulled back, and if it is killed you die with it.
• The Enchant tab binds small charms (Sea Affinity, Electric Shock, Gale, Sea Whisper) into an item in your off hand. They are minor, single-use, and fade away after about three months.
• It is dangerous to carry for weak beyonder. Anyone below Sequence 4 holding it loses sanity, and every 35 minutes it bleeds every living thing around you, including yourself, with Blood Drain (configurable). Your own Sefirah Castle protects you from both.
• Craft it from a Sea King Characteristic surrounded by 8 One Pounds.
