Description

Music discs can be found in special chests dropped by monsters or crafted*

*Crafting available since mod version 1.10.

To craft the chest, you need vinylite stone and piece of a specific mineral (e.g. emerald). Vinylite Ore generates in the overworld at heights between 0 and 96.

To open the chest you need appropriate melodyte stone.

Melodyte Ore generates in the overworld below level 0. You have to craft melodyte with a specific mineral to obtain needed melodyte (e.g. Melodyte + Iron Ingot = Iron Melodyte).

You have a 1 in 4 chance to find a music disc in the chest.

To increase your chances of dropping a music disc from a chest, you'll need a Symphonyte stone. This stone can be found in any regular chest. When Symphonyte is crafted with any chest, it transforms into an enchanted chest that has a 100% chance of dropping a music disc.

Music Discs Cases are used to store music discs.

There are three types of cases: Copper, Iron, and Golden.

The cases drop from Emerald, Diamond, and Netherite chests, with a 5% chance of dropping.
