Kaleidoscope Flora is an addon for Kaleidoscope Cookery that turns vanilla flowers into a full brewing experience.
Available for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge) and Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) — see "Dependencies" below for which file to download.
How it plays
Gather flowers, brew them in the teapot, drink and gain the flower's blessing.
- 26 flower drinks — each with its own recipe, effect, and a flower-language quote
- One teapot yields 12 cups — ladle them out with Cookery's empty teacups
- 24 custom effects — walk on water, glow through the night, dig up artifacts with a sniffer's instincts, and more

Signature effects
- Rosy Stride — stride across lakes and rivers on a film of petals; boarding a bank is as smooth as walking up a stair
- Lullaby — a calm aura that soothes hostile mobs and frees you from phantom attention
- Breath of the Ancients — brush blocks with a sniffer's instincts to dig up pottery sherds
- Crimson Heartbeat — every strike feeds you back a little life
- Echo of the End — once per cup, a killing blow is answered with a blink of teleportation

Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge
- File: kaleidoscope-flora-0.3.3.jar
- Requires: NeoForge 21.1.x (built against 21.1.248), Java 21, and Kaleidoscope Cookery 1.5.0–1.5.x for NeoForge 1.21.1
- Optional: Sodium Dynamic Lights or LambDynamicLights — install one of the two, not both. With either one, The Sunward casts real light at night instead of only its outline.
Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge

- Requires: Forge 47.x (built against 47.3.25), Java 17, and Kaleidoscope Cookery 1.5.0–1.5.x for Forge 1.20.1
- Note: this build has no dynamic-light engine integration yet — The Sunward's night form is the vanilla Glowing effect. Everything under "Both branches" applies here too.
Both branches
- Optional: JEI (in-game info pages) and Vanilla Backport (unlocks 4 crossover drinks brewed from 1.21.4+ flowers — without it those 4 drinks are simply absent, no errors)
- Install on both client and server for multiplayer.
About the two builds
The 1.20.1 Forge build is a port of the 1.21.1 NeoForge original, at content parity: 26 flower drinks (22 need nothing but vanilla, 4 come from Vanilla Backport), 24 effects, 15 advancements. The only known difference is the dynamic-light integration noted above.
