Description

Welcome to "Insect and Arachnids", a mod that adds insects into the game!

Currently there are only 2 insects: Mantises and Monarch Butterflies.

But soon there will be a lot more insects and arachnids!

This mod also adds a new feature: Essence Extraction!

With the essence extractor, you can get powers by capturing butterflies!

Currently, the only essence is the Monarch Essence, that gives you Strenght for 2 minutes!

How do you obtain a butterfly? Well, you need to craft a bug net and find a butterfly egg! (Butterfly eggs can be found in trees on the forest and plain biomes)

Once you break a butterfly egg, you will get a random caterpillar (Due to the Monarch butterfly being the only one currently in the mod, you can only get the Monarch Butterfly). You have to put the caterpilar in a block and wait 5 minutes, after 5 minutes it will become a cocoon and if you break the cocoon a Monarch butterfly will spawn, which you can catch by killing with a bug net in hand.

Using JEI for the recipes is recommened, but in the future I will add some in-game guides.
