About plugin and developer

Hi, my name is Amar and I come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, I am Java and Python programmer. Main reason to start this project is my will to start using Jython. Many online friends know me by my nickname "Brix" (or Brixishuge in-game). This plugin from series of "Informer" ones, which will continue to develop more in future... At the moment, I'm working on few of them, which will help players and administrators to feel more "comfortable" on your server.

What is "Informer What is that" and all about it?

It's plugin which checks chunk information, returns block type and block's coordinates. Simply, if you have correct permissions (or OP) you can take stick and right click any block... Why is this good? It has few uses, for what you will use this plugin, it's on your own! Probably, there is more uses, but this is few of them... Grief reporting. For example, if someones reports chest griefing and you want to check that with LogBlock, user gives you picture of location (on forum for example) and logouts. It's okay, but, what if there is bunch of chests? Simply, with this one, picture with informations from "What is that" plugin will give you exact positions of that chest. Also, it's good for introducing game to new players. You remember first time you played Minecraft? Probably, minecraftwiki was your most visited site because you didn't know which block is that. Simply, with right permissions, players can check block type and google for it or ask someone on server for further information.

Dependencies

Because this plugin was coded in Python, you must use "Jython" and "PyPlugin Loader". Place "Jython" into your "/path_where_server_is/lib/" folder and just drop PyPluginLoader.jar together with Whatisthat.py into your "/path_where_server_is/plugins/" folder.
