Welcome, traveler, to Hecate's Structures. This mod was made with the intention of giving the upcoming modpack ('Hecate') by Phoenix & Dragon Development (short: PDD) a more unique look. However, you might still use this mod in your own projects, no matter if they are private or public.
Hecate is a fantasy-style mod highly inspired and themed about greek mythology. It adds multiple artifacts, all connected to one god, with unique abilities but sometimes downsides. In addition it adds quite a few structures, all coming with loot and unique designs.
Structures:
⚡ Zeus' Island: Small island in the sky that keeps a treasure - there might even be a Divine Feather ...
🏹 Forest Ruins: Small ruins which rarily spawn in, well, forests, seaweed brain. They contain the shards of the Sacred Torch, the artifact of Artemis.
☀️Apollos's Shrine: A small shrine that might spawn in the desert. It contains a hidden treasure ...
🍷Witch Hut: A small, cute house with a witch spawner. Its chest keeps various ingredients for the new alchemy system (Soul Elixirs).
Soul Alchemy:
You can now craft a few vials from 2 blocks of glass which you can use while standing on soul sand to fill them with souls. Now you have magical elixir. But in order to give it an effect (like a potion), you'll need to combine it with one of three hearts:
- Undead Hearts (Zombies & Skeletons)
- Vermin Hearts (Spiders & Cave Spiders)
- Mortal Hearts (Villagers ... you can finally live out your dark side).
Those different Soul Elixirs can give you various effects depending on the ingredient.
