Heartcore Lives adds a limited-life survival loop to Minecraft: recover from a death, risk a return through time, or lose your last reserve and watch as a spectator. Search for two new ores, work through a five-stage crafting chain, and build a relic that can restore a life or bring another player back.

### Lives and death

Start with 3 reserve lives and carry up to 5. Each return spends one. When no safe rewind is available, a normal death can leave your dropped items at the death site if the area is clear. If hostile mobs make the spot dangerous, you return near a safe bed or spawn with your inventory kept. At zero lives, you become a spectator; a crafted relic can still offer a way back.

When a safe point from the last 10 seconds is available, the return route has a 50/50 chance to rewind through that recorded path or use the normal death route. A rewind costs one life, keeps your current inventory, and plays in first person.

### Four cinematic returns

Wake through a heartbeat, follow the green staircase to a heart, rewind while reaching for a turning clock, or trigger the rare Solar Return. The scenes use your player skin for the first-person hands. Press `F8` to reduce visual effects.

Solar Return can trigger on a lethal skeleton arrow with a 37.5% chance when you still have a reserve life and the ground is safe. Your character pulls the arrow free and throws it back at the original shooter. The return costs one life and preserves your inventory. On waking, Solar Might lasts 60 seconds: +6 attack damage, Fire Resistance, Resistance I, and 35% knockback resistance. Other mobs are not selected as replacement targets.

### Find and craft a life relic

Mine Resonite Ore in the Overworld and Cinder Ore in the Nether. Their drops feed a five-step crafting path using familiar materials such as iron, copper, amethyst, ghast tears, golden apples, phantom membranes, clocks, and totems. Open the in-game handbook with `J` or `/heartcore` to see the ore locations, recipes, and survival rules.

A finished Rebirth Relic restores one life. Use it from the main hand with a left click, or through the relic menu. Two relics can revive another eligible player. Purchases share a 12-hour cooldown, and reserve lives cap at 5.

### Requirements and controls

Fabric Loader, Fabric API, GeckoLib 5.5.7 or newer, and Java 25 or newer are required. Install Heartcore and its dependencies on both client and server. The audio-free build uses vanilla Minecraft sound events and contains none of the supplied OGG recordings.
